We provide a place for people of all political colours and backgrounds to express their ideas – an open platform for our contributors to give voice to the increasing diversity of opinion that exists in Scotland, the United Kingdom and beyond.
As a platform, we do not endorse any political party or outlook. There are, however, certain ideas that our staff writers and editors agree upon, and it is around these that we will shape our in-house editorial stance:
1) we support the idea of an independent Scotland
2) we support an independent Scotland remaining within the European Union (EU), as well as believing it is imperative to critique the policies and democratic nature of that Union
3) that to be of value our platform must be representative, open to all writers of differing races, religious identity, gender identity, sexuality and class
